Mrs Emily has been dancing since she was 2 years old in all dance styles. Her passion to open a dance studio came from a very early age, she opened the doors to GSOD in 2009. She has had extensive dance training with over 25 years of dance experience and over 11 years teaching experience in the dance industry. She has choreographed and been involved with many school concerts & dance concerts throughout the years.
She loves to work in the local community at schools with assisting in choreographing school concerts. She has worked at Bellaire Primary, St Anthony's, Rollins Road, Northern Bay & Koroit Primary.
She is extremely passionate, driven, positive, confident and a highly organised person. Continuously furthering her dance education with regular trainings and seminars to stay up to date with the industry and produce fresh, dynamic, creative, fun dance programs offered to her students.
Jazz, Contemporary, Funk, Hip Hop & Musical Theatre
Miss Teagan is bubbly, fun, lively and brings many laughs and character to all her classes. She has been apart of the GSOD teaching faculty since 2014 and has been dancing since a little girl with over 20 years dance experience. When not in the dance studio she has achieved her honours degree in psychology and business she is currently studying her Masters of Teaching.
Hip Hop & Acrobatics
As a creative, Kai has worked nationally as a performer, choreographer and director. He's worked on multiple music videos, musical productions and concerts.
Mr Kai is currently touring New York city for a work opportunity & will return late 2020....
Song & Dance, Fairy Ballet & Jazz.
Miss Shen started as a student @ GSOD in 2011 and hasn't looked back. She assisted with our preschool classes and admin team before she joined our faculty. She is currently studying her Bachelor of Education at Latrobe University. Miss Shen's approach to teaching our preschool students is always with a positive, welcoming encouraging and caring approach.
Acrobatics & Hip Hop
Miss Stefani is excited to get into the studio teaching amongst the GSOD family and sharing her dance knowledge with the students of GSOD. She has trained in all genres of dance ranging from ballroom to contemporary to Acrobatics and Hip hop. She has been exposed to many other various styles during her two years of full time training at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, where she attained full certificates in both Dance and Dance Teaching Management.
Stefani has always had a passion for performing and has had the opportunity to perform both professionally and voluntarily amongst the Melbourne and Geelong dance community.
