Why Families Love GSOD

Founded in 2009 by Director Emily Bradley, Geelong School of Dance has been proudly supporting Geelong families for 17 years, providing a positive and encouraging environment where children can grow in confidence, build friendships and develop a genuine love of dance.

Offering a wide variety of classes from Preschool through to High School, GSOD is known for its welcoming community, passionate and caring teachers, exciting performance opportunities and age-appropriate programs designed to help every child feel supported, included and excited to come each week.

In 2019, GSOD opened its purpose built dance studio in South Geelong a vibrant and welcoming space designed to create a fun, positive and encouraging environment for students and families to enjoy each week.

More than just dance classes, GSOD is a place where children feel seen, encouraged and proud of themselves, both inside and outside the studio.

Classes For Every Age & Stage

At GSOD, we offer a wide variety of classes for children from 2 years old through to our High School students. Whether your child is taking their very first dance class or already loves to perform, our programs are designed to help every student feel supported, confident and excited to dance each week.

From our specialised preschool program, Lil Groovers, through to Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acro, Circus and more. Our classes focus on building confidence, coordination, creativity and a genuine love of dance in a fun and encouraging environment.

We believe every child deserves to feel included, celebrated and proud of their progress, no matter their age, experience or ability.

Child Safe Organisation

Our organisation is committed to child safety. We want children to be safe, happy and empowered. We support and respect all children, as well as our staff and volunteers. All our teachers have a current WWCC & First Aid, CPR certified. Geelong School of Dance has completed the “Keep Kids Safe in Dance Training”.
